New Form has been serving Arkansas since 2024

The founder of New Form began her journey in Morrilton, Arkansas, where she joined beginning band as a 7th-grade clarinetist, continuing through high school and cherishing every moment. Once she was able to work, she used part of her earnings to pursue dance at a local studio. She enjoyed jazz and tap but fell in love with ballet and contemporary.

After high school, the founder- New Form- attended the University of Central Arkansas (Go Bears!) to major in Music Education, supported by scholarships that made her college experience possible. Additionally, she had a passion for drawing, creating comics about her college adventures called Snow Fine Adventures, which led her to minor in visual art. She spent countless hours in the music and art building- studying, practicing, and painting.

New Form has always loved the fine arts, but she understands that not everyone has equal access to these opportunities, especially those from backgrounds of poverty. Coming from poverty herself, New Form knows how difficult it can be for aspiring artists to pursue their dreams without adequate funding. The perception of the arts in society further limits these opportunities.

Thanks to scholarships, New Form was able to pursue her passion while working part-time. Grateful for the generosity that supported her, she is committed to providing similar opportunities for others. The fine arts transformed her life, and she is determined to help change the lives of students through the arts.

Now pursuing her Master’s in Music Education at the University of Arkansas, Go Hogs!, New Form remains dedicated to the arts and to serving those within it.
